More than 100 years of company history
The Passoni company dates back to the year 1909
Paolo Passoni originally founded a company east of Milan in Brugherio, where mainly steel products were manufactured.
The current company name Passoni Paolo e figli S.r.l. was introduced in 1946. At that time, the production of iron frames for wooden boxes began, which were used for both lorry starter batteries and traction batteries. Rubber-coated steel crates were later developed.
At the beginning of the use of plastic-coated steel troughs in the mid-1950s, plastic-coated steel frames were also introduced to the market. This product expansion led to a successful company expansion, whereupon the subsidiary alpha industrie-bedarfs gmbh, based in Worms (Germany), was founded in 1981.
While the products manufactured by Passoni were initially mainly marketed throughout Germany and Europe, they soon established themselves on the global market.
alpha industrie-bedarfs gmbh offers comprehensive solution-orientated customer service, specialist advice and technical design planning. The branch also serves as a logistics centre.
